Autumn 1944, World War II. The fight is in the Hurtgen forest. The battle close to Bostogne was after battles that you can see in the movie.

US and British generals said that they will be in Berlin in 1944 but German forces were not weak. The war was not over. Lot of soldiers died in these battles.

I have see it 2 weeks ago for the first time. I must say that I'm not disappointed.
